When I met Sara Oehler (pronounced Ay-ler) many years ago, she saw something in me that needed development and she took the time to mentor and guide my career as a designer—I’m so thankful for that! Sara is a gifted author and instructor in addition to her longtime role as the Sales and Marketing Manager at Soft Flex Company.
Sara and I have worked on many projects, including The Great Bead Extravaganza, developing special kits, presenting on TV, and more. Design your own stunning jewelry with this revolutionary knitted wire jewelry chain! Baby Blue Capture Chain is made by machine-knitting 32-gauge, permanently enameled baby blue wire over a 2.4mm silver-plated ball chain. The result is a stunning 3mm knitted wire chain that is an absolute joy to create jewelry with.
This chain is durable, free-flowing and can be cut to any length without fraying. Pair the chain with our Single-, Double-, or Triple-strand End Caps for a flawless finish on your design. Simply place the chain inside the end cap channel and use wide nose pliers, with a protective coating to prevent scratches or marring, to crimp the end cap. First, a bright blue iridescent tinsel is knitted over a 2mm silver-plated ball chain. And second, 32-gauge, permanently enameled blue wire is knitted into a tubular wire mesh that captures both the iridescent tinsel and ball chain. The result is a stunning, multi-layered, 3mm knitted wire chain with a glowing rainbow flash.

Our SilverSilk Double- Strand End Caps are custom- cast to fit our Capture Chain and Pearlesque chains. High-quality metal is plated over a brass base and stamped with the SilverSilk logo then polished to perfection. These end caps measure 7mm wide by 12mm in length with two 3mm diameter openings. Each end cap channel is aligned with special grooves to grip the ball chain inside our Capture and Pearlesque chains. Simply press the end cap over the knitted wire end with a pair of nylon-jaw pliers for a secure and professional finish. These end caps are packaged as a pair (two end caps).
