I love using seed beads when the technique is easy and quick. Here, I show you how to make seed bead petals that are fast and simple to make and adds ton of embellishment to your design in minutes.
You’ll start by cutting two 3-inch lengths of SilverSilk Capture Chain.
Place each end of one length into a Double-strand End Cap and use nylon jaw pliers to crimp the end cap. Make sure the seam is fully closed.
Our SilverSilk Double- Strand End Caps are custom- cast to fit our Capture Chain and Pearlesque chains. High-quality metal is plated over a brass base and stamped with the SilverSilk logo then polished to perfection. These end caps measure 7mm wide by 12mm in length with two 3mm diameter openings. Each end cap channel is aligned with special grooves to grip the ball chain inside our Capture and Pearlesque chains. Simply press the end cap over the knitted wire end with a pair of nylon-jaw pliers for a secure and professional finish. These end caps are packaged as a pair (two end caps).
Cut a 12-inch length of Soft Flex 26-gauge Craft Wire and string ten seed beads.
Twist the wires together and then separate them.
String ten more seed beads of another color on. Pinch and twist them together close to the previous beaded petal.
Create a series of beaded petals.
Coil the remaining wire around one side of the Capture Chain loop.
Repeat for the other side and your earring design is finished!
