Signature is personal. This one is about going back to where I started, to the designs that first got me noticed as a jewelry designer. Back in 2012 I wrote a book called Jewelry for the New Romantic, and the technique I became known for was weaving beading wire into something lacy, pulling inspiration from the Victorian era but giving it a modern twist. That wire weaving was my signature style long before I ever used that word for a collection.
With this theme I wanted to revisit that part of my story and bring it into today. I kept coming back to ideas like lace, ink, the look of a handwritten signature, and what it means to celebrate your own style rather than chase a trend. Signature is me opening up my old catalog of work and giving it new life, so you can be part of the design that started it all for me.
SilverSilk Project Bundle
The Signature SilverSilk Project Bundle is my way of bringing an old technique into a new collection, built around the lacy wire weaving that first made my work stand out. I pulled a color story that feels timeless and a little romantic, warm cream and gold set against deep charcoal and navy, with smoky quartz, crazy lace agate, banded agate, and hematite adding texture and depth. SilverSilk knitted leather chain anchors each design, while Soft Flex beading wire lets you recreate that signature lace effect yourself. This bundle complements Danielle Wickes's own Signature collection in color story, though the style is entirely my own. Perfect for beaders who want to try a technique with real history behind it.
