How 3-Needle Chain is Made
Our precision SilverSilk knitting machine uses three needles to knit three extremely fine wires into a delicate-looking, durable chain. The 32-gauge, 99.9% copper wire is permanently enameled and is tarnish-resistant for long-lasting jewelry. The woven knitted wire chain is 1.5mm in diameter and does not have an inner core. 3-Needle chain comes as a 5-foot spool in a variety of magnificent colors and can be cut to any length.

2mm Cord Caps
Pair 3-Needle with our 2mm Cord Caps for a flawless finish on bracelets, earrings, keychains, necklaces, and more. To get started, choose your chain color, and use craft wire flush cutters to cut up to four 3-Needle chains to the desired length. Simply gather them up and apply a dab of jewelry glue (Loctite glue is recommended) inside the open end of the cord cap. Gently insert the chain ends into the cap, ensuring a snug fit. Allow your piece to rest for 30 minutes to let the glue dry completely before wearing, ensuring a secure and polished finish.
SilverSilk’s 2mm Cord Caps are ideal for finishing the ends of any 2mm cord. Perfect for 3-Needle Chain. Simply apply a small drop of E6000 industrial adhesive glue to the inside of the cap and then place the chain or cord inside. Wait about 15 minutes to dry then you can wear your design. The cap is about 11mm tall and about 5mm wide, with an inside diameter of 2mm. SilverSilk 2mm Cord Ends are made with high-quality metal plated over a brass base and stamped with the SilverSilk knit pattern then polished to perfection. 2mm Cord ends are sold as a pair, or (two cord caps), per package.
